This site is dedicated to the Microsoft Home Server product. I am very excited about this product as I have always been a big believer of a central server for the home. Media Center was a great step in that direction being able to share things around your home network, but taking it one step further by allowing central storage and backup utilities will be very powerful. While these were available before usually in whatever Linux flavor you like it was often daunting for casual home users to setup and run. Home Server means to take the complexity out of these tasks and bring them to everyday computer users that could really benefit from the additional services.
MS Home Server is currently in a closed beta cycle but I will be posting news and information from my experiences in the beta.
